Shooting the shooting

I was in the city this afternoon with a couple of hours to kill and my camera in hand. It was a really cloudy, gloomy day, really bad for landscape photography, So I decided to try a composition experiment and take photos of people taking photos of other people.

Some more of these here.

First off, way too much information is being asked for in the comments section :) but atleast its better than word verification.

Nice idea, and great snaps too. The next thing to do is to take your picture while you’re doing this ;) And come to think of it, it’ll make for a truly fab snap if this can be made as recursive as possible :)

OK, the email requirement’s been turned off. Lets deal with the comment spam if and when it comes.

Recursive I guess would require a mirror. That would mean there would be the subject and the first shooter; the reflection of the subject and the first shooter, and finally the reflection of the second shooter (that’s me).

Now, which mall in Singapore has huge mirrors? ;)

I’ve never been able to take pictures of strangers – it feels like I am intruding into their lives.
