Six IITians start Paritrana

It’s heartening to see young people in India starting a political party. Much of the problems of the Indian political scene – we feel – is due to lack of involvement of new ideas from the younger generation. Lets hope Paritrana can fill the gap.

I’m impressed by the party’s ideology, which is based on a system of social organization. So much better than blanket cliched phrases like the ‘good of India’ and so on (the mission statement of the party, however, I do find very vague). To develop the party’s infrastructure, though, we’ll need to see a lot of work, and it will be up to the younger generation community to provide the input and support.

Don’t get your hopes too high man. Our political system is so dirty that whoever plays in it ends up covered in mud.

Idealism is one thing. Realism another.

  2. This might be the beginning of something good for the country. I have an interview with Chandrashekhar, the national treasurer of the party on my blog.

AC – thats a pretty sweeping statement to make. To be sure, a lot of politics in India is dirty – but there has been a lot of good work done despite that.

august – thanks. the interview was very interesting, looking forward to see how paritrana shapes up.

I am looking forward to the day I am able to join this party. Wishful thinking!
The idea/ action is an encouraging one and I would certainly contribute. And would certainly vote next time.
Was just wondering though, why nobody thinks of farming as a profession. After all fundamentally it is agriculture that supports the entire economies of the world.

    Hi All,
This message is to all those who believe in PARITRANA and its ideology.
As Tanmay had been telling in his intervies that ‘DAND’ should be regulated properly else theres no meaning in the governing body, a straight example of that is the Jessica Lal murder case where the murederer is aquitted inspite of bieng identified as killer by a fashion designer who was present on the scene.
All these incidents make me believe more in paritrana and i have started working towards it. my first job is creating awareness about paritrana in my city(hyderabad) and secondly meeting Tanmay and his partymen. I tried to visit Jodhpur and called up Chandrashekar to fix appointment, and he informed me that nobody is there in Jodhpur and they are visiting chennai for an open debate session. So people close to chennai if you wanna meet the partymen and have a word or a meaningful discussion do contact Gopal Vasudev(Chief Advisor, paritrana) who is in chennai @ 9381202545.Tanmay(National President of Paritrana) and others will be in chennai in the first week of march.

    Regards,
    Cyno.
